The cruise port of St. Lucia in the capital of Castries is the gateway to a tropical paradise. Ships dock at two modern terminals: "La Place Carenage" is located directly in the lively city center, while the larger "Pointe Seraphine" sits on the northern side of the bay. Both terminals offer passengers excellent duty-free shopping, cozy bars, and local craft markets. Convenient water taxis run between the two piers. Right at the port exit, certified taxi drivers and tour guides wait to take shore excursionists to the famous Pitons, the healing mud baths of Sulphur Springs, or gorgeous sandy beaches.
