The Port

The Port of Limassol is the largest and busiest cruise port in Cyprus. It offers a wide range of facilities for cruise tourists, including restaurants, shops, car rental agencies, and tour operators. The modern piers can easily accommodate large cruise ships, and its proximity to Limassol's vibrant city center makes the port a popular destination for cruise lines. Passengers can explore Limassol's historic old town, sample local specialties, and enjoy the surrounding picturesque beaches. On foot

The Port of Limassol is located approximately 2.7 km from the city center. You can walk into town, but you should allow about an hour for the journey. We walked to the city on foot, but we wouldn’t really recommend it. The route runs along a very busy main road the entire time, and the surroundings are anything but pleasant.

Shuttle buses

The cruise line offered a shuttle bus for €5 per person each way.

Public transportation

A much more affordable option is Bus No. 30, which departs directly from the cruise terminal. It costs (approx.) €2.00 – €2.40 per person each way. The bus stops at the same location used by the cruise shuttle. The stop in Limassol is called "Kioproulouzate Street" and is located right by the Old Port.

Taxis

Taxis are available in ample supply directly at the harbor exit. If you prefer not to use the shuttle or the public bus, you can enjoy a comfortable ride into the city. You can also ask the drivers for rates for trips to the surrounding areas.

Car rental

There are no car rental offices located directly at the port; however, several companies offer delivery to the harbor.
